Last season, our precious Danny wasn’t granted his rightfully earned Goal of the Week for his 81-yard blast into the net, the first for an MLS keeper. In order to make it up to him, let’s all vote his amazing save against “The Wookie” Dan Dichio as MLS’ Save of the Week, mmm kay?

Saturday night against Toronto F(u)C(k), Jon Conway was miserable in goal, but attempted to distribute the ball quickly and effectively. He’s still a bag of ass, but at least he tried something new.

That being said, here’s a video of “Franken-keeper” working out in the offseason with a weighted sled. This is to build footspeed. He is still slow, so I fear that this exercise didn’t work for him – it’s either that or Giants Stadium’s turf turns to quicksand when he needs to move across (or within) his goal box.
